Extended Circle

As most people grow older we start to think we’re done….we’re done building our career, business, our network, our family. It’s too late for me, I’ve reached my limit. My Aunt told me a few years ago that you can make new connections and friendships at any stage of your life. I thought she was crazy. I felt my mind is full, my heart is full, heck my patience is low nowadays.

I use to think the family you have is all there is…it’s too late to build new connections. I knew people that had so many cousins and they grew up like siblings and I use to be so jealous. Oh let’s be honest I’m still a little lol. But my Aunt was right. The people I’ve met and connected with in the last few years have had a profound impact in my life. We can sit and talk about nothing or dialogue about the deepest part of our lives. We celebrate and cheer each other on or standby with a box of tissue….It’s not too late!

Allow God to manifest new people into your life. Don’t be stuck….open your mind, your heart, and as difficult as it is your time! Love cautiously and trust slowly but work on it. Build new relationships in an open and transparent way. God is not done with your life yet. And you all know I’m also advising myself right lol but continue to extend your circle and just like that the Universe will give you additional family – in small pockets. It’s not too late.
